Black is the most intense and striking color that can be achieved with natural dyeing herbs. TeaNatura Black Henna is made from 100% Indigofera Tinctoria - the indigo plant - organically grown: the same plant used for thousands of years in Asia to dye fabrics and hair with a deep, long-lasting blue-black color, without harmful chemicals.

Indigofera Tinctoria acts on the hair cuticle by depositing a blue-black pigment which, combined with the natural starting color, produces cool, dark tones. On light brown, dark brown or brown hair with only a few gray hairs, the result is a color with cool, deep tones. For optimal coverage of gray hair (over 20-30%) and to achieve a more intense black, the two-step process is recommended: first Red Henna (Lawsonia Inermis) for 10-20 minutes, then Black Henna (Indigofera) for 40-60 minutes. The color continues to develop over the following 24 hours, becoming even darker. Protect your hands with disposable gloves and your clothing during application.

directions: Prepare a paste by mixing the powder with hot water (50°C) until you obtain a smooth, creamy consistency. Apply to freshly washed, damp hair, starting at the roots, then cover with a shower cap and a wool hat. For colored highlights, leave on for approximately 1 hour; for a more intense color, leave on for 2-3 hours. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear, then dry with a hair dryer for 10 minutes.
