Aleppo Soap - TeaNatura
with Olive Oil and 16% Laurel Oil
Aleppo Soap is considered the most natural soap in the world. It is still made in Syria today using the same traditional recipe: the oil obtained by cold-pressing laurel berries is mixed with Olive Oil, slowly cooked, hand-cut into bars and left to dry for 10-12 months in the open air and warm Eastern sun. This long drying process gives the soap a long-lasting quality and a unique cosmetic profile.
Olive Oil (Olea Europaea) — rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and squalene — forms the emollient and nourishing base, leaving the skin soft and supple. Laurel Oil (Laurus Nobilis Fruit Oil) at 16% — extracted by cold-pressing laurel berries — is a powerful natural antiseptic, anti-rheumatic and soothing ingredient, traditionally recommended for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, contact allergies, fungal infections, acne, dry skin and sensitive skin. The formula is completed with Water and Sodium Hydroxide, which are necessary for the saponification process: both are completely transformed during the chemical reaction, leaving no residue in the finished product. Excellent for cleansing the body and hair, for the most sensitive skin that does not tolerate traditional soaps well, and for soothing insect bites and redness.
