Our Sunflower Oil it is made with seeds from our fully Italian and Marche supply chain. It is cold-pressed mechanically, without further refining processes, to preserve the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics of the seed.
- It is rich in vitamin E, with a content of 50.6 mg per 100 ml.
- It is ideal for dressing and frying, thanks to the high smoke point (over 225°C).
- It is very suitable for sweets and savory pies, thanks to its delicate flavor and aroma; we did not consider deodorization necessary due to the high quality of our sunflower seeds and the respectful processing method.
Our oil
The Organic High Oleic Sunflower Seed Oil completes our range linked to crop rotation, supporting the supply chain built with our farmer members not only during the year dedicated to wheat but also in the years dedicated to legumes or sunflower, typical of Marche.
Sunflower is a functional renewal crop; after cereal cultivation, the same field is followed by improving crops such as alfalfa and legumes, or renewal crops like flax or sunflower itself.
Our oil is rich in vitamin E, an antioxidant that protects cell membranes from free radical damage. It is high oleic, meaning it has a fatty acid profile similar to extra virgin olive oil due to the presence of oleic acid (82%), a monounsaturated fat, making it more resistant to high temperatures and therefore also suitable for baking and frying and less perishable once opened.
