characteristics and properties: Cous Cous is made from durum wheat semolina flour that is moistened and formed into small balls, then steamed and dried. Del Colle durum wheat Cous Cous is the result of a careful selection of durum wheat and is carefully processed to obtain an impeccable product. Having become part of UNESCO’s heritage, Cous Cous has become increasingly popular on our tables. Del Colle offers both Cous Cous with medium-sized grains and coarse grains.

directions for use: The correct ratio is 1 cup of water for every cup of cous cous. Place the cous cous in an oven dish and cover it with previously heated water. Leave to stand for 10 minutes and fluff with a fork. Dress with vegetables previously cooked in the oven (e.g. courgettes, onions, peppers, aubergines and tomatoes).

Bring the water to a boil, gradually pour in the Cous Cous, stir and leave to absorb for 10 min, then add a knob of butter or oil.
