Organic Medium Couscous - Del Colle
Features and properties: Cous Cous is a preparation of durum wheat semolina flour moistened and shaped into small balls, steamed and dried. Del Colle’s durum wheat Cous Cous is the result of a careful selection of durum wheat and is carefully processed to obtain an impeccable product. Recognized as a UNESCO heritage, Cous Cous has increasingly become a staple on our tables. Del Colle offers both medium-grain and coarse-grain Cous Cous.
In the kitchen: It lends itself to very versatile use in the kitchen, as well as being easy and quick. An excellent alternative to pasta and rice salads.
How to use: The right portion is 1 cup of water for every cup of cous cous. Place the cous cous in a baking dish and cover it with previously heated water. Let it sit for 10 minutes and fluff with a fork. Season with vegetables previously roasted in the oven (e.g., zucchini, onions, peppers, eggplants, and tomatoes).

Ratio: 1.5 cups of salted water per 1 cup of Cous Cous.
Bring the water to a boil, pour the Cous Cous gradually, stir and let absorb for 10 minutes, then add a knob of butter or oil.
