Bulk Shopping in Quartiere Africano, Rome: The Complete Guide to Green Block Market

If you live in Quartiere Africano, Trieste, Nomentano, or Parioli and are looking for a more mindful, sustainable, and affordable way to shop, you've come to the right place. Green Block Market, at Via Tripolitania 180 in Rome, is the go-to place for anyone who wants to choose bulk, organic, and eco-friendly products without giving up convenience.

What Is a Bulk Store and Why Does It Change Shopping Habits

A bulk store allows you to buy exactly the amount of product you need, without unnecessary packaging, excess plastic, and often at more advantageous prices than in large supermarkets. You bring your own container, choose the product, and pay only for what you take.

No waste. No packaging. Just the product.

This way of shopping is becoming increasingly popular in Rome, and is particularly appreciated in residential neighborhoods such as Quartiere Africano, where a clientele attentive to quality and the environment is constantly growing.

What You Can Find at Green Block Market

At Green Block Market on Via Tripolitania 180, you can find a wide, carefully curated selection of products for the home and table:

• Quality bulk foods: cereals, legumes, dried fruit, organic flours, spices, seeds, herbal teas, and much more

• Eco-friendly refill detergents: for laundry, dishes, floors, and surfaces, refillable directly into your bottle

• Organic cosmetics: creams, shampoos, conditioners, and body care products with certified natural ingredients

• Natural pet food: for dogs and cats, with no artificial preservatives

• Eco-friendly products: reusable bags, containers, zero-waste products for the home

Every product is carefully selected to ensure quality, transparency, and respect for the environment.

How to Shop with Us: 3 Ways to Buy

We know that every customer has different needs. That's why we've come up with three flexible ways to shop.

1. Come to the Store

Our store is open at Via Tripolitania 180, Rome (Quartiere Africano). You can come in, discover our products, receive personalized advice, and take home everything you need. We recommend bringing your reusable containers, or you can use the kraft paper food bags available

2. Order for Delivery with JustEat or Deliveroo

Don't have time to go out? No problem. You can order our products directly to your home through JustEat and Deliveroo, with fast delivery in the North Rome area. It's the most convenient way to have organic and sustainable products delivered straight to your door without compromising on quality.

3. Order Online and Pick Up In-Store (Click & Collect)

Would you rather browse the catalog at your leisure from home and then come by to pick it up? On our website greenblockmarket.com you can shop online and pick up your order, already prepared, in-store at Via Tripolitania 180. No waiting, no queues, maximum convenience.

Why Buying in Bulk Pays Off (Including Financially)

One of the most common arguments is that organic products cost more. In reality, buying in bulk eliminates the costs of packaging, big-brand marketing, and centralized distribution. The result? You pay for the product, not the packaging.

By purchasing only the quantity you need, you can also drastically reduce food waste - a tangible long-term saving, both for your wallet and the environment.
